Mack
Hi My dealer has a Sako A Series rifle in .270 calibre at a giveaway price. The rifle is in excellent condition, however, I noticed that on sqeezing the trigger with the bolt removed, the safety catch and sear? (piece of metal which portrudes into the bolt channel from the trigger unit) move up and down about an 1/8" as you press and release the trigger. I have never seen this in other Sako's I own and wonder if this is normal or if there is something broken or missing from the trigger mechanism. The bolt when installled in the rifle, cycles and cocks with no issues and the safety catch works as it should. The Dealer, who I have known for years and trust, took the rifle in as a trade, so has no idea of it's history. Many Thanks
