6mmBR Posted October 5, 2007 Report Share Posted October 5, 2007 Well what a superb evening, I don't expect we'll have too many of these until next year. Well I just had to make the most of it so off I went with my trusty Ackley. A great evening varmint session although this time of year it finnished at 6.30 I bagged 9 bunnies with the furthest at 274yds I shot the feet off a crow at 560yds I recon 1/2 an MOA more elevation and it would of been a plum hit. Just caught that magic hour when the wind drops to nothing. I would like to think we'll have a bit more weather like this again but the chances are not good. So lets all make the most of this weekend and get out varminting. Good luck to you all and looking forward to reading your suscess stories. It more than makes up for the days when its 2 below 0 F and even the cold,wet,windy,snowy aint so bad as long as I can hunt.... Ask me what I think of the weather on the days I gotta work and you will get a completely differant answer... No matter how nice it is...or how nasty it is... It Sucks!!!!
