Moderator for 338

I am in the market for 02 moderators

 

Both sporters hunting rifles i.e. not heavy prone tactical jobies

 

one for 6.5 x 55 for UK stalking

 

one for a 338 lapua for Africa

 

I think I am a bit behind whats on offer in the UK and a lot have change in the market in the last 18 months since I bought one

 

Considering SPARTAN from Third eye tactical £210

 

or

 

Quicksilver (since they have dropped the price to £365 including VAT)

 

Obviously weight and effectiveness are prime factors

 

If you have first hand experience please advice

 

I have done a search already but most comments are when the spartan was just launched. Now a few months down the road do you guys still hold the same opinion ?

i have got a quicksilver that i use on my 6.5x47 that im very impressd with and a spartan that i use on my a.w 308 equally impressive .if i had to choose between them i would go for the the spartan ,craig,s mods are very well made, quiet and good value for money, also easy to strip and clean i cant pick fault with either of them .
