I will take the 6br cases.

My Sako quad is intermittently firing and not striking the case. I have only noticed this recently when entering a 30 round competition at our club. When I reload the rounds, they fire ok so l assume it is not an ammo issue. The rifle has done in excess of 4000 rounds but hasn’t missed a beat until recently. Just wondered if anyone has had a similar issue, any help would be appreciated.

I know baldie offered a very reliable feed for the 6br. All the calibres you mention are fantastic in there own right. If I could only have one, mine would be a 6br, great case life, minimal recoil and shoots ragged holes all day long.

Absolutely no disrespect, but given that it’s likely going to cost £3.5k I would look at something with a better action, one that doesn’t have a pinned recoil lug or rail (less to come loose or go wrong). One of my rifles is a Defiance Mutant (tube gun action) and they’re nice. I also have an Impact Precision 737r...which is very very nice. I ordered 4-5 spare pre-chambered barrels for each gun in the various calibre’s I wanted. Tonnes of other stuff too. When deciding what to import, I went with the max I could afford knowing the cost and effort makes it more worthwhile.

But again, for the cost, time and effort, I would either save some more pennies and spend on higher end spec to import to the UK (it is a hassle...so buy once and cry once) or possibly look at higher spec 2nd gun here in the UK. Plenty of AI’s kicking about.

Thanks for the info, l haven’t heard of Murom KVB-223m primers before? I have just purchased 6.5x47 & 22-250 Blaser with 22” match barrels so trying to work up some loads. I did think your loads were hot until l read about you coating them.

Saying  that I have a Borden Alpine in 6br and l run that above the recommended limits with no pressure signs. 
 

Can l ask what determines how often you coat your barrel and does this affect your cleaning routine?

off topic slightly but may ask what bullets and loads you were using? I have been using vit140 with some success but my groups could be tighter.

Fantastic looking rifle, l have a Borden Alpine in 6mmbr, top class actions.

I'm interested in the press if its still available.
