Northern Farmer suggested : 1kg CHEAP Plastic Pellets Granules. Stuffing, weighting and Filling
from Ebay. Have you actually used these, and if so, what's the approx. volume of 1 kilo, please?
Pete
Filled a size 12 sock amply where my foot goes tied it off and pulled the remainder round and tied that off. you can get a real good hold on it even with my hands

Thank you that’s helpful, I haven’t done much at longer ranges with them yet if they work out I will have a go at reproducing them in a home load.

I’ve been doing a bit of plinking with the SAKO RANGE 144gr FMJBT in 6.5 CM started with it at the beginning of lockdown my rifle appears to like it.
I have done a bit of a search but don’t appear to be able identify the bullet does anyone know what it is?

Shame my scope is 34mm

Thanks guys
The send it jockeys look the part I like the fact that you can take it off, vortex looks worth a try to.

Looking to put a scope level, bubble on the scope so that I can hopefully keep everything level
The tier ones have a little bubble in them but I am struggling to focus on it close up I am trying to keep everything level rifle and reticule so I could possibly go with rail mounted bubble?
Any recommendations that might work any feedback much appreciated

I have 2, nice and light as stated above mixture of aluminium and steel for me they work fine only had them about 12 months so can’t give a long-term evaluation on them.
I believe they are made in Norway.

Couldn’t agree more with VarLR.
Miki - I assume woodlander was suggesting using a Varmint bullet designed for the 6.5CM such as 100gr Sierra HP or 95gr Hornady V-max etc. I disagree, I believe the 6.5CM is the perfect can do all caliber here in the U.K.
Northern Farmer - Are you wanting a can do all load, one bullet / one rifle? Deer, fox and target, plinking etc? Because the 130TGK will no doubt do that all. However if it’s solely going to be a foxing rig then perhaps there is some merit in choosing a faster, flatter varmint bullet?
Mind you, dead is dead. I don’t see Mr fox arguing the toss over the 130gr TGK.
I hadn’t consider it to be my all round rifle however the more I shoot it the more I like it. the 130g works very well on the farmed reds and while probably not perfect for foxes I would think would work well with a correctly places shot.

If it’s going to be your foxing rig, wouldn’t it be better to work up a load using a Varmint bullet?
Aren’t Gamechangers for larger animals and will you get the desired expansion?Bullets are still readily available from online stockists.
I will work up a suitable fox round when materials are more accessible just trying to utilise what I have to hand,
I have tried the sierra 130g in factory from sako and they work well enough with the limited use I have given them.

That’s a very interesting way of looking at it thank you, I will use up the H4350 hopefully hit on a combination that works before the tub is empty.

I never use any extra fat in mine personal choice, tongue master seasoning works for me.
If I run out and I usually do just salt and fresh black pepper keep the meat cold and mix to get a constancy that sticks to your hand (watch SRP on YT good advice) burgers and sausage are very subjective what you like may not suite your friends or customers.
Mine do not fall apart even with no seasoning (only salt and pepper) and only minced once, a nice slice of Stilton usually accompanies my burgers.
