I've been lurking here for a while but wanted to ask some advice. I have a .308 rifle with an S&B PM2 but am about to buy a cheap and cheerful used Sako Quad with .22LR and 17HMR barrels for target and rabbit shooting.
I'm looking at scope options, and the choice is fairly bewildering. I'm looking for new or second hand up to a maximum spend of £300. Ideally with maximum zoon of no less than 8 and ideally 12 or 14 max zoom for 200 or 300 yard target shooting with the 17HMR. Ideally something that I can change the zero on easily when switching barrels as well.
Looking for suggestions please. Considering Hawke, Vortex, MTC, or a second hand European scope.
