  1. Hi All,

    Having a clear-out.

Got a pair of these for sale, as new and unused with tags. They could easily be worn by a guy also and measure 32/33 waist x 31 inside leg

They have been hanging up for ages waiting for my missus to put on weight so they fit her but in spite of my feeding her up she is still a size 12 so these can go to a good home.

RRP £95.00 How about a gimme of £30 including signed-for post and packing?

Also, I have just found a G-Mac made in Scotland waxed jacket in size 14 (see pic) it can go FREE with the trousers! (I've upped the price a bit to cover postage)

  2. Hi All,

Up for sale is my Opticron ES80 GA ED Spotting scope which I no longer need, it has the HDF (High Definition Fixed) Lens and is perfect for the range or bird watching, its an older model but is still well regarded, a great range scope and at this price, excellent value for money.

It can be rotated so you can use it sitting without having to get up each time and comes with a Velbon Delta tripod which is old but solid

There is a small crack on the very edge of the objective lens which I didn't even know was there until I started to take photos for the listing, I must have done it at some point but it cannot seen when looking through the scope, however needs mentioning, the picture shows where it is.

I just want to move it on so £160 £140 will do including tracked postage which with the weight will be pricey.

Or would swap for S&B 8x50 Scope in good condition.

In 2013, Swazi introduced the Tahr XP - a new and improved version of their legendary Tahr Anorak. It features a number of small but crucial changes from the original; most notably the addition of a much-requested hand-warmer pocket. For a first-hand explanation of this new model, here's what Swazi's founder Davey Hughes had to say:-

"For over 15 years the Tahr Anorak has been recognized around the world as the very height of excellence in wet weather jackets. We’ve taken all those features that made the Tahr a standout winner and added hand-warmer pockets, a scalloped tail and a new storm closure, complete with waterproof zips. The Tahr XP is in a class of its own. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better - it did! The Tahr XP lifts the bar and sets a totally new level in weather protection for the serious hunter."

  7. Hi All,

Here is what in my opinion is the best designed bino harness you can get, everything about it is quality, ultimate protection for your expensive glass, it will take a binocular of up to 7.5" length comfortably, maybe a tad longer and feels really comfortable. I got a similar harness with my new bins so its surplus to my needs. Its branded Vortex but made by Alaska Guide Creations and is typical USA quality.

Fits my Swaro 8x42's with the eyepieces fully extended.

£110 Now £90! with fully insured postage.

  9. Always difficult to gauge, but the easiest way is to look at what they are advertised at on Ebay or Chrono24, but bear in mind you are selling privately and presumably offer no guarantee so you can't expect to get what a shop or dealer will get, the fact is its what folk are willing to pay is all that matters and you can find out what the market price is easily enough. Then if you want a quick sale, dump the price by a few hundred to make it attractive and you should be good to go.

  10. I was lucky enough to get a Rolex Submariner for my 21st birthday 46 years ago, I don't have that original watch anymore (which is another story) but have worn subs ever since, I can honestly say that I have never needed to have one serviced, as long as you are not to precious about a minute or so accuracy, they don't need touching in my experience, although when watches come back from Rolex they look like new.

I tend to agree with others that if I had a £200 top budget, I might be tempted by one of the 'pilot' style watches, I really like the Casio Eco-drive watches or a Seiko.

My preference would be to save up or get a bank loan and go for a used Omega Seamaster divers watch, they represent excellent quality and value.
