I have a pair of matterhorn boots, sadly the sole (vibram) is starting to come away on the toe, what glue would be recommended for a repair please?

Take them to the cobblers they will sort it no problem . I had a vibram sole replaced a few years ago £30 if I remember correctly

And I'm starting to really resent being punished again for the inconsiderate actions of others......

    Pete

    Inconsiderate?
You mean the people following the governments advice when they said masks were useless? Oh that’s right the so called experts have done a 180 degree about turn on masks . Keep believing the bull and beg for more draconian measures 🙄

And no I haven’t worn a mask since this rubbish started....apart from an S10 for a run around Morrison’s with an anti scamdemic message written on my t shirt

1million UK cases,  4.56% deaths,  world stats are irrelevant as the world isn't on one infection time-scale.  Please get a grip of the facts if you want to have a rational discussion.

It took you hours to dig up the nonsense stats and still you make a mess of it,  guess that's all you'll get from me.

The government has been lying about its own figures right from the start . They’ve even admitted to lying and yet the sheep still believe 😳

Dying with and not of COVID 1984 is the key

So, actually, 'false' on the original statement....  a vaccine has no reliance on herd immunity, it's one means by which herd immunity might be achieved 😉😂😊😊

If you're mad enough to have that rubbish injected that is 🤔

The lifting of any Government or drug company liability speaks volumes. I'm taking my chances with the full strength covid 1984 😎

    Well said.

A shooting buddy of mine has just got home after a stay in ITU.  If he couldn't have been treated he may well be in the morgue now.  We are in better shape now than last March with hard-won knowledge and some treatment regimes that work.  All this talk of 'herd immunity' is just ignorant Youtube rantings without any clear understanding of the consequences.  I suppose it doesn't matter if someone else's granny dies as long as one can go to the pub...

If I'm not mistaken doesn't a vaccine rely on Herd immunity?🤔

I disagree Sir!  Clearly an IQ of 12

Haven't all the predictions by the so called experts been wrong so far ? Masks totally ineffective months ago ....now effective . Hundreds of thousands would die ....but they didn't . Another lockdown will give us a different result ....oh wait ! It's just going to drag it out into the new year .

My prediction, Trump wins and the phoney pandemic mysteriously disappears for Christmas 😎

Can't beat a good Rolex.  My Explorer 2 white face is in for service at the moment (££££!!).  I wear all day every day, work and play.  It needs a service every 5~7 years.  My only bling (apart from rifles naturally).

Rolex sport / diving watches are ace . Although in all honesty I tend to wear my CwC diver 99% of the time .

Yep,  I agree wholeheartedly.   A gadget giving no useful value to the on-range performance in my opinion.   It's way more important to seat the primer snugly in the pocket,  I find a lever operated bench mount aids that as hand fatigue is not a factor.

I've actually measured primer cups (I know, I should get a life) and the tolerance is ±2thou typically with CCI BR2;  and there's Remington - well don't go there,  a load of shirt.   Also, even Lapua brass pockets vary a thou or two within the batch.

If one weighs the primers (again no life...) there's small variations and my guess it's the quantity of primer compound as much as any variation in cup & anvil as some less deep cups were heavier than deep ones (by the proverbial gnats nadgers).

Rcbs bench primer is the way to go . I had so much arm pump from a hand primer, my love life was suffering 😂

stop being a dick Gluv.  I'm no more a "Guardian reader" than you.  Can you not understand? Being a Tommy Robinson supporting, ultra-right-wing, tin-foil hatted loon doesn't make me a "communist".  It's getting tedious.

    Annnd, he's cracked! 😂

Ok , I will try and not mention when you wander off the path .....It's going to be difficult mind ! 😉

Sorry to hear about your lad.

We actually live in a very peaceful country but with some hot-spots of serious concern.  I live in a city with it's fair share of problems - mostly to do with drugs and depravation - it's not unsafe generally and it's pretty easy to avoid those areas and times when it is unsafe.  My point was that 'tooling up' and learning some self defence moves is highly unlikely to make a jot of difference - apart from making matters worse.  Best avoid and de-escalate.

The original OP was suggesting "concealed carry" was a good idea.  Complete rubbish,  homicides would skyrocket.  Just think of all those nasty violent minded people we're to be scared of, all packing a gun,  madness on steroids.  I think there's plenty of chaps on here that have seen real action,  a bet most would be highly skeptical of Joe Public managing to defend themselves when set upon by a thug

By the way,  I think your statement "as its happening elsewhere I suppose its OK"   by others (including by implication, me) is just silly and unworthy. Only a callous fool would think that.

All of those nasty thugs are carrying knives at least and increasingly guns . Probably not what you Guardian reading lefties want to hear ? 🤔

The chances of a law abiding citizen going about their business and getting set upon is vanishingly small unless you live in one of our sink-estates.   It's always good to be able to defend oneself but the reality is unless you practice regularly it's likely you'll be overcome and take a kicking.   The worry about being mugged is more anxiety inducing than the actual fact.

We live in a law-abiding country, look at the real stats,  they're quite reassuring.

I wonder if you live in this country sometimes 🤔 Take a look at your major cities

Theres a war coming and it's not going to be pretty 🙁
