IMO a great idea, will save all sorts of hassle.

Aha, hello.
Keep up the good work'Happy Christmas.

There's an admin ?
Who is it/are they ?

Great moderator. Easy to clean, spares available.
Fit a stainless baffle and it will last ages...Is it the Mk1 (44mm in diameter) ?
-
An excellent mod for a 30cal projectile.
With a 9mm hole through the middle it won't be that effective with a .224/5.7mm bullet.
Obviously better than nothing and still a bargain @ the current price. The mod doesn'r really 'need' the bush, it more there to stop leaves and grass getting up behind the vertex chember.

This may sound odd, but should te 100 yards be from the muzzle or the action? with a barrel measuring 20" it might be important
It's not important.
🤢 Yes a .223 makes bunnies burst, try a .22-250 for that red mist experience ....
Bunnies to 110m are good sport for a 17HMR"I have a box full of used brass shells now, and have no idea what to do with them "
Depending on what brass/cases you have, they are worth around 20p each, which if you have any 'Norma' i'd be happy to pay cash for (i'm near Lanark).

You'll have no problems with a 50gn monolithic bullet in a 1:8 twist. Heavier = longer and its the length that destabilises the bullet in flight.
With a 1:8 I'd have thought 60 even 65gr would be fine, it's the 1:12 that struggle with the heavier bullets.

What wieght SPX ?
What twist rate in your barrel ?
What length are the bullets ?
-
What size is it (there are different length leg models) ?
