  1. HI Kev.  My scope (Thermion on my 22.250) is 1.7 inches from the bore.  I like my all my scopes mounted as  close to the barrel as i can get them.

Most of the foxes i shoot are between 150 and 200 yrds therefore I wouldn't want the highest part of the bullets trajectory curve  to be the distance where most of the action happens.

But whatever paddles your canoe  👍  😎

I use the same setup with Strelok pro on my Android Bruce, takes about 5 minutes to measure and input all the data, providing you don't enter rubbish , you get very accurate data out of it. I'm out on Sunday setting up a keepers NV for MBPR

My own Ward thermal is zeroed at 80 yards with a 2nd zero of 270yards, so point and shoot to 300 which is more than good enough.

Hi Buddy  - what rifle is that your shooting.

My 22.250  (zerod at 70yrds)  and shooting a 40 gn Nosler at 4050fps has a primary zero of only 180 yrds - I thought that was fast and flat. 😎    What are you shooting to give you a 2nd zero of 270 yrds  😘

  3. Gents,

For sale is my beloved ZEISS Victory Diavari 6-24x56 T* Reticule 43. (mildot - non IR)  It has target type turrets on both the elevation and windage - 0.5 clicks

Probably one of the best scope ZEISS has ever made. The glass is free of scratches and is tack sharp. Some small minor superficial marks on the turrets from use but outside of that a good example of a great scope.   It will come well packaged with Zeiss manual  - but not in original box.   Pics on request

  4. Folks.
I have decided to sell my 6.5 Creedmore as it just isn't getting the use it deserves.

In fact i only took it out the cabinet twice last year.

    Spec of rifle as follows:

    • DCR Action with fluted bolt ( Remmy Clone)
    • Trueflite 25 in barrel ( 1-8 twist)  Threaded 18/1 and invisible thread protector
    • Manners - MCS - T4A  adjustable stock.
    • Aftermarket trigger -  but cant remember which one
    • Has full bottom metal work and drop out mag.
    • Fully Cericoted by Jeff at Liquid-Steel. (steelwork in Metallic Burnt Copper)

The Rifle is in excellent condition and an absolute tack driver.

It has a shot count of less than 600 shots and has been one of the most accurate rifles i have owned.

I Want £1800 for rifle.  I have lots of other Creedmore stuff and bullets available to the buyer or after the sale.

  6. I used Kroil for years - great stuff.  But I was told that it was not being imported to the UK anymore.

The stocks that are left - seemed to have mysteriously doubled in price. (I was paying about £12)

There are certainly alternatives that are just as good.
