  1. Boyds Featherweight Thumbhole stock for Howa Mini, like new, has been bedded, makes such a difference to the rifle as a whole, shoots better feels better and looks a lot better, was bought for a used rifle bit found it to be shot out and so was hardly used Only £180 posted
  2. If you google ior sh4 reticle then click images you will get it
  3. OK thank you for clarifying that, it does say on the box, i saw the operator on opticswarehouse and looks identical so thought it might be a gen 2 of this model, you are correct again on the glass, it is nice
  4. I think the new name is the operator but not a 100 % sure and the reticle is SH4 and its MOA
  5. IOR Scope in good condition, no marks good glass just a good all round scope for hunting or target, selling due to funding a thermal spotter for my foxing and i can get by with a lesser quality scope, Im looking for £800 posted by RMSD recorded next day if possible, it has illumination and the quality tier one rings are included for this 34mm tube, probably the best glass on the market with Schott glass, i will be sad to see this one go but needs must, get yourself a bargain as these scopes and rings are quite expensive new. Also comes with original box as in pics, thanks for reading. PS does not come with the 6.5x284 its mounted on.
  6. 284 Shehane with lovely purple Joe West stock professionally bedded and built by Grant taylor, BAT MB action and Jewel trigger I dont think you can get this colour from Joe now so will be quite unique i would think. Priced at £2100 as the Bartlien barrel has had around 1500 through it and once barrelled for circa 800 its a steal at £2900 total Also have newlon dies for it if purchaser wants to buy seperate. Thanks for looking
  7. Did anyone have a 7mm saum load in N165 that they would like to share, most of the post went towards the 284W This is for my hunting rifle but could always be turned into an F-class rig if it shows promise.
  8. Thanks for all the answers guys, Laurie if its as much bother to get that amount in then then i think david in his first post is ultimately correct, its to slow and it does look like H4831 is the perfect powder and theres no point in looking for anything slower to work. I think i will try r17 , would i be right in assuming the go to primer for this would be the CCI Br
  9. Thanks a lot Lawrie, thats the info i was looking for with the N165, i knew it would not be the fastest load in 284 but its a powder that has given me very good Es results,as i have seen already, it does not have to be the fastest to win. Its enough info to let me test my new 284 and decide if i go for the speed or the ES, if the RL17 would give me sub 10 then that would be something, anything more and i will have to find some other powder, id rather shoot slow with good ES figures than fast with vertical. Many thanks Robert
  10. Thanks for the reply's from you both, much appreciated.i had just wondered if anyone had tried to stick in a case full of the 165 to know if it would be any good or not It worked quite good in my 6.5x284 and theres a fair bit left over from last year and no one seems to know when Edgar bros will get the next lot of short cut in.Fingers crossed i have enough to last till it comes.
  11. Does anyone have starting loads for the 7mm rsaum and a straight 284, H4831sc looks to be in short demand this year so n165 looks to be an option, maybe some other powders could be recommended aswell. I have tried H1000 in saum but hard to get reasonable ES for me
