I was asking if anyone knew  a date when said ammo was last made.

Hi all,

I have been offered (at a price?) some Hornady .222 40gr ammo, from my internet searching I believe they were once available but are now no longer made as there is no mention of them on Hornady website.

Can anyone please confirm if the above is true or not.

I currently use factory Hornady 50gr and like them but if price is right I would possibly try 40gr it would also depend on age of said ammo.

About to get some .22lr subsonic ammmo. Have only ever used Eley 40 gr subs in Cz 452 but now no longer made and last time got 38 gr.

Never had a problem at all with 40gr in the past 10 or more years but when I tried their 38gr I had several hot ones and not too impressed with accuracy compared to 40gr. For whatever reason I have lost my faith in them.Has anyone tried Fiocchi 40gr subs and can they recommend them?

Neither had a nut allergy but one of them had a severe reaction to lead not too long after.
