Please do not take my comment of ‘how strange’ as caring, I really don’t, it is just that, an observation of what a strange way to behave?

There is a little  too much bile in your posts to be classed as humour (underlying issues? 😉)  so the ‘excuse’ banded round of folks being ‘thin skinned ‘ does not really cover it or make them funny, piss take, yes, possibly?

Still , takes all sorts, have at it if you get a kick out of it 👍

It was meant as a piss take Terry,  nothing more!

Pete , I love the tarp under your drag bags , That is so neat and tidy it appeals to my OCD 😃 Keep doing what your doing and enjoy it .

That Bald Headed Geordie ..... Sorry I missed that weekend up in the Lakes and a chance to be with two Les's 😂 I was sooo bad and the hotel wouldn't refund my booking !

Did you pull anything apart from a drunk Wilson  ?  ...... I'll be at the next one and we must get John Dean up there with us  !

Having shot at a lot of ranges in the UK in either F Class comps or ' Plinky Plonkin ' then I must admit that Bisley is by a country mile better than any other range in the UK ( Sorry Vince )  It's not a nice little range , It's where World & European Championships are held and no matter where you are from the UK needs Bisley !

So I'll be travelling down from Staffordshire to be on Stickledown Saturday afternoon if there's anyone else there come and say Hi ........ I'll be the one with the 7mm Norma Mag and LabRadar .

    Hi Greg.

Yes it was a pity you missed the weekend of jolly japes and an action packed weekend of culture, wine, beer, spirits, decent food etc and Pete Wilson not bothering to 'dress' for breakfast, lunch, dinner (scruffy tw*t) and using lots of military speak (tosser!)..    Hopefully another weekend of cultural learnings of the freedom loving peoples of the Northern Republic will be organised and will be good to see you again.   Are you still a big ugly git?

As for pulling the only thing I pulled was my stomach muscles with so much spewing up the alcoholic beverages the day after the night before in Keswick.    Wasn't in too good a fettle on the walk up Helvellyn and emptied my stomach a few times on the walk up to the lake when I met the gang coming down (they left me in the car looking rather billious and took me an hour to come around lol).   But a cracking weekend and yes if John Dean wants to come then that should be a cracker.

Stay cool and enjoy Bisley with the Southern ponces!

    Ciao

F***ing funny stuff!! Makes me realise how lucky I am to have my own range of 1500 acres of beautiful Devon countyside that I can shoot what I want when I want. Mostly doing what all these rifles were designed for, killing stuff!!!

I should really slag you off at being a fekkin' braggart,   ooooooh look at me,   me with all my land and you other poor suckers can go and do one,  while I can shoot for miles in any bloody direction,  so  ya boo suckers.   But I find that you might just be my new very best friend BuckhurstBen lol.   Have fun

So what are you trying to say...come on man, spit it out!? 🤣🤣🤣

You got Chris Evans round for tea then?

Real men spit it out and don't swallow!     But I think that there are a few shooters on here to prefer the latter lol.   No offence to those who travel on the other bus darlings.      Chris Evans!    How very much dare you VarmLR.    He is bleedin' GINGER'      I absolutely detest those of a ginger persuasion.    Something seriously wrong with them and should be rounded up,   put in a field and bomb the b*stards.     Might have a Franzipan Crumble with my next cup of Earl Grey.     ATB

Bald Headed Geordie, which one of your categories do you think you fit into? ....................I'd say boring stripey deckchair if your choice of biscuits is anything to go by.................................😎

    Pete

I am unique and will not be categorised.    I am not a number I am a free man.    But I am a benchresting puff and also an f class wank*r.    Not interested in dressing up like G.I. Joe (if you want to do that and shoot like a man,  join the fuc*ing Army,  Marines etc)    Think I need another ginger nut to calm myself down bonny lad.     Cheers ATB

    Stop sitting on the fence!

Only just started Roy W.       Don't get me started on the lazy bunch of tw*ts that Benchresters are.   Fancy sitting on your ars*s on fancy stools and the only part of the rifle you touch is the trigger and at known distances,  what kind of bloody shooting is THAT!     Also the lazy sodding F class wan*ers lying there on overpriced shooting mats and again shooting at know distances and also using electronic targets,  get off your fat ars*s and get some camouflage gear on with real mens rifles and a bipod and do a spot of running back and forwards and shoot from manly positions.  What a bunch of gays they are.    While I am on a roll,   cowboy types who use underlevers,  if you want to be a bloody cowboy sod off to America and shoot some Indians you bunch of girls and I bet you love wearing Sherrif's badges and walking like John Wayne.

Anyway I had my cuppa and ginger nut biscuits and very nice too.     Ta ta for now girls.

  7. I have tried to be nice and to get everyone to get along.   But no more Mr Nice Guy.

The vast majority on here are a bunch of knobs,  puffs,  pansies,  freaks,  know it alls,  tossers,  gits,  when I was in the ........,  don't you know who I am,  I can shoot the arse off a bug at ....... yards,   hit an egg at 700yds with no sighters,  spiral staircasewits,  no idea of English grammar,  cannot fekkin spell,  boring bastards,  look at me in my camo gear don't I look real tough with my rifle,  I was on the balcony honest,  look at my shiny rifle oooooh how pretty it is,   what you shoot off a front rest,  real men only need a wall and a bi pod,   If I have offended anybody......  quite frankly my dear,  I don't give a damn.      If I am banned,  quite frankly my dear I don't give a damn.     Needed to get that off my chest.   Time for a cuppa and a ginger nut.

It certainly does on here, I’ve never known a forum quite like it 🙄

Hi All.    I recently had an experience like this on Arsebook.    A guy from up here puts old photos on and they are very interesting of locations, people etc in the North East.    A few days ago he put a photo of school children taken in the early 1900s.    They looked improverished and not exactly very healthy.    My brand of humour simply couldn't resist and I commented 'Rickets R us'.      It only took a few hours when some lady treehugger/PC type commented L.Prior...not funny.    I did reply directly to the person to say calm down and do not take things so seriously.      I went on to say that I have a school photo of my class taken in 1958 and that a few of the boys looked as though they actually had Rickets.    So it is very easy to take things the wrong way and then the sh** hits the fan and before you know it the Teddy bears are being flung and the backbiting begins.     No doubt it will happen again on here and other websites.   6BR Accurate Shooter website has its fair share of this and the Yanks do have a serious go at each other until someone gets banned.    It is very boring so come on chaps,  we are British and made of sterner stuff.     Let's not hurt each other,  unless you like that kind of crap lol.       Be happy and enjoy your type of shooting.      PS.    I LOVE BENCHREST AND F CLASS.   COMMENTS AWAITED WITH INTEREST!!!!  TTFN.

  9. you been there then? Gary C is across the valley muwhahaha

Apparently Gary C's new home is a front for the new SMERSH headquarters and there is a secret underground railway system to transport March scopes and some say Russian nuclear warheads swiftly around the world. Also their new home is built on a moveable base, and at the press of a button it moves to one side rather like the home on the kids tv programme Thunderbirds.

Don't get me started on Les Holgate's 'shop' in Barrow, as the secret lift behind the wall panelling in the mens changing room (press the coat hook peg 3 times) descends to around 300 feet below street level and that is where the Prime Minister keeps her back up COBRA room.

You couldn't make it up could you?

  10. I imagine they'd be called re-enactments.

The beauty of the blanks I fired were that they were very consistent, I'd recommend RG blanks, although the '06 RG blanks were better than the '93 blanks. Though the difference was negligible. They all missed in the same place...

Hmmmm, a chance to dress up in period costume as well as some serious competition. Sounds good to me. But I am worried that the scores will be rather tight so had better get some practice in then.

  11. If there are any forthcoming blank firing competitions can the venue and course of fire be given as I would like to take part in this new and exciting form of shooting.

Rather like F Class competitions where the wunderkind calibre is 7mm in its various forms, I would like to know the optimum blank calibre at say 600 yards to 1000 yards.

I am going to Diggle this weekend for the Flyshoot and would like to try out blanks against the more traditional type of ammunition. This could be the start of something big. So excited!!

  12. Picked up this rifle from Pete Walker last week. 284 Win with a Tooley MBR stock, sleeved Remington action and fitted with a Benchmark barrel.

The stock is a few years old now but had the hydrographic treatment and is very nice. Will try it out at the Flyshoot at Diggle this coming weekend with a few different loads to see how it does.
