Yeah, but it sounds like they are infested with rabbits & scared of the horses getting lame from rabbit holes...

Other people are shooting on the adjacent farmland next door with shotguns, not sure if this is for rabbit or other game...

But so long as they have notice for their land, to see to the horses, they're ok.

The horses are normally stable at night too.

So evening/ night rabbit shooting with a .22 lr is no prob. NV a bonus :-)

Daytime with a moderated .22 should't be a problem, as long as they know you're there ...

They will insist on conditions because of the horses, buts thats got to be expected :-)

    Just wish I lived closer...

All "pm" details handed over tonight.

But they are on holiday this week, so you might not get a call for a few days :-)

Sounds like someone will have fun then :) ferrets and nets we can take up to 40 rabbits in a day ;) so it's a good way of control if you do it right

  2. Around horse paddocks people normally get funny about shooting, we use ferrets and nets much safer and no chance of spooking a horse.

Chap not to far from me shot a fox one night in his paddock, women's horse next door ended up jumping it to there swimming pool fire man at to lift it out with crain.

    Just a thought

  4. Foxes are beautiful creatures and should be left alone, I hope some of you shooters kill each other because you deserve it.

Yes I agree they are beautiful creatures, but left uncontrolled the British wild life would suffer. Also the farmers, land owners and small holdings with chickens, lambs and ducks ect would be left with nothing. So before you have ago at people trying to look after wildlife and peoples welfare step back and think about it..

  5. great post , i have a few greys im hopeing to nail tomorrow any baiting tips?

Around pheasant feeders are good if there's any about or a fox pro with the calls on

  6. I was after them the other day, but they are crafty buggers I sat the bait away 150 yards and they wouldn't come that close I was shooting them around 200 yards
