  1. Just a thought but we talk a lot about Custom rifles but how many shooters on the forum own and shoot a Remington in competition lets say up to 600yrds with accuracy and how this compares to a custom rifle the reason i ask mainly is because it seems to me most custom action seem to be based around a Remington clone in one way or another we know the custom rifle so called holds it value better where led to believe than a Remington will always be a Remington value wise but forget the after sales value how do they compare in a competition at the same distance thanks

  2. I lost a very good friend who passed away on Sunday a Legend in the world of DTL i Know this is Rifle forum but i also know there is a lot of shotgun shooters who have come across the name John Twigg he was gentleman and a great guy he will be very sadly missed he used to shoot with myself John Stafford and Keith Bond he won over the years every trophy associated with the sport of DTL R.I.P John

  3. First class scope i owned one years ago when they first came out over here not a lot of people where selling them i bought a .223 Remy sort of semi custom from Rogers place when Dave was working there South Yorkshire shooting supplies and i think at the time Roger was Importing them they used to be if i am right one full turn of the turrets was 25 moa which was very usefull and fantastic glass

  4. no expert myself but i shot a 223 for several years i think the BLC-2 is a powder which gets over looked because of trends out there and follow my leader but i shot it in a few 223 i owned and all ways found it to be very accurate and consistant to through because it is a ball powder but every one to there own.
