huntsman
Anyone have any experience of the Mauser M O3 range? Shoooting sports have a review this month, looks ok . Are they accurate? The modular system looks good and easy to swap things about. Might be an alternative to a Sauer. The web page has a few mepgs showing the features. Ronin
Dave not seen the Mauser M03 except in glossy photo's, however, I did used to own a Mod 66, which I believe was the basis of the M03 design, this was an excellent modular rifle, with an unusual sliding breech. Very accurate, very well made - almost too good to mess about in the woods with. If I were looking for a well made rifle at the expensive end of the market - the M03 would be on my list. Guest Baldrick
Huntsman, I'm considering an M03 Extreme in 6.5x55. As a left-hander, I've yet to track an M03 down to handle/try, but they look impressive. The £240 scope mount is a little off-putting though, on a gun that's already £1500.
