Where do you buy the screws for these (tikka t3) and how tight please?

From memory some early T3 have M3 x 1.5 threaded action holes - you cannot buy this size screw (ive tried numerous sources including Tikka)

 

Some (most) have 6 / 48 which may be found through Brownels UK

 

I prefer opening up the holes to accept 8/40 screws, which are superior in strength and solidity - especially if the rail fitted is not bonded or has a recoil lug fitted to mate with the action insert.
