Range finder

Hi guys just interested to know if any of you out there has a Leupold rang finder?

The reason I ask is that I have an RX III and after 6 months it started to go wrong and, it is supposed to range to 1200 yds and I have never beeen able to get a reading past 600 yds. then the back light stopped working, it was eating batteries and finally it stopped working altogether. ;)

So off it goes to Leupold and I get a brand new one back 3 weeks later, and now this one will only show 3 of the 13 reticules I can't change the distance from yds to metres or feet well the whole right hand side of the dial won't work full stop. But it does reach out over 760 yds now  So in the new year it will be sent back to the USA again :(

Has anyone else had any probles with a similar range finder?

I should never have got rid of my Lica 900 :(

Sorry mate

never used the Leup RF.

My Swarowski Laser Guides are about 5 yrs old and needed two battery changes - never failed to range a target yet.

May be a time to swap brands ;)

Sorry to here your problems Nigel, maybe an idea to get it fixed in the States and then part-ex it and go back to a Leica.

Have a great Xmas and good luck with getting it fixed.

Cheers

Dave
