Since the arrival of my my Accuracy International AE MK II in 6.5x47 Lapua, I have been comparing the mag system (ACIS 5 or 10 shot double stack) to that of my AE MK I in .308 (5 rd single stack) and am wondering if it would be possible to machine out the mag well of the AE MK I so it could accept the ACIS 5 or 10 shot double stack mags.
