The reason these wont seat to 2.230 is due to the shape of the nose. You are trying to seat a bullet that has 0.975" nose to a coal that would have 0.100" of its nose inside the case neck. These 2251s really cant be compared to the old 240smk which has a much shorter nose and overall length.

Are you sure that the 2251 is suitable for this application? From memory they are in region of 1.75" long, that wouldnt leave much room for powder, they need an 8 twist at 308 velocities 2500ish fps to maximise their potential.

I see swipe marks clearly on 3 cases, shavings on the bolt face. I have found the s&p lrp to crater much easier than cci 200s. Either way your overpressure

That works out at very close to 2% for me You have 0.6moa extra in every 30. That scope is as good as it gets. True your app using all the atmospheric variables on the day and turn on vertical component of crosswind. That will most likely improve the predictions.

What distance did you shoot your tall target at, and how did you measure that distance?

I use a Golden eagle ecr and the elevation turret is close to true, I have tested one (scr) that had an approximate 9% extra elevation on paper. A tall target test will easily confirm this.
