pb86
Hi All, As I now have my new .308 rifle on order I need to look at buying all the relevant auxiliary parts such as a cleaning kit. I have only owned RF rifles to date so all my stuff is currently RF orientated and tbh I very rarely clean my RF rifles as I like to keep them leaded in. I understand that the fullbore world is slightly different given the copper fouling and additional carbon build up, so what products do people recommend that would be effective for a starters cleaning kit? Links to suppliers would be also be great. Over to your collective knowledge.... Paul
baldie
1. A good rod. 2. A bore guide. 3. A couple of nylon brushes. 4. A couple of jags. 5. A bag of correct sized patches. 6. A bottle of KG carbon remover. 7. A bottle of sweets 7.62. 8. A can of spray oil. 9. A can of normal oil. This will get it all clean and keep it right. I stock all these items.
