Forgive me - what do these two bits do???

The oval piece goes between the stock and the butt pad. The bottom tube then screws into it at the bottom and this becomes a rail that sits nicely in a rear bag. Due to the tubular rail, the rifle can recoil back and forward easily so it will help with the follow through on your shot. Hope this covers it lol
