Jinks
In reply to one of petel's post on another thread, I too am getting a lot of big dog foxes this year here in Mid/West Wales, got these two the other night, shot both side by side at 262yds from a vantage point over looking a large bog. Thought they were mating at first (bit early) as after I shot the dog fox, the vixen didn't run off at all, just carried on mooching around (big mistake ). Went to retrieve them the next day with the farmer, only then I realised the size of the dog fox and found out why the vixen didn't run off, they had both been feeding on a sheep carcass which was out of view the night before due to the tall reeds. Should have taken a better photo so you could get an idea of the size, but the vixen is fully grown. Didn't weigh the dog fox either Cheers, Jinks
JohnGalway
Great to see them in such good condition. Not got any foxes yet myself despite three outings, time to try pastures new methinks!
