My 284 shot the 180gr ELDM's superb out to 1000yds..

I was shooting 600yds snaps and 3 blew up during the coarse of fire..

It was a cold morning and they were doing 2770fps according to my bal cal..

Stopped using them after as it cost me too many points.

I've used 100s of 180gr berger hybrids since and no issues..

I heard some folk were getting this on the early batches, ive yet to see so far 🙂

That’s perfect that. That was one of the many issues I had with the creed,it only had a short barrel so couldn’t get the speed with copper.

My tube is currently 22" to the action face(It had a trim from 30) didn't loose anything like the speed anticipated(i gained most of it back with a powder change)

I have a 7rem mag shooting copper which I like but it’s heavy so I tend to use it for sika because it’s more sitting than stalking, hence why I’m building a lightweight .284  for humfing around chasing foxes and I can load copper if I take the urge and still get good speed, ( I wanted something that was light but can stretch out the yardage and preform better than the creed or similar with a heavier bullet which is bound to help in all terms)😂 my .260 ack it heavy to but it’s my fox sitting out rifle and my .270 is my roe/red rifle again shooting copper.

My rifle is running 3250fps with yew tree 130G coppers & absolutely drills them.(ive seen as high as 3400fps)

  4. Love a 284
Mines currently a shehane although I don't see much improvement on my over the standard forming load overall to be honest with regard to velocity.

had a fox at 680M with the other week so it defiantly gets the job done with 180g elds,(ive not used 162s in this barrel but i get around 2800 with 180s

  6. Alright guys

New update to  the range of Night Saber Alpha V2 pills range.

We have 2x new very powerful 20w whites ,one is a narrow beam for those that want silly ranges & the other is a broad 20w white that is just fantastic for those lamping from a moving vehicle or running dogs.(both emit a round beam profile)

There is also a new amber "broad" option in 12w that useful for lamping from a vehicle!

Great time to bin off  the cumbersome tracer/lightforce lamp for something that is much more convenient/ergonomic & reliable.

Short vid of the 20w broad white in action

  7. Hi palo

Yes the v4 for a premium optic works very well with a v3 when combined with a wraith laser in 850nm.

There is some footage kicking about online I believe.

I would still say the 6x base mag would be fine for bunnies and Charlie.

I set up on 10x (so around 13x system mag)and go upwards.

I never find myself going under 10x on foxes from the truck

    Hi Andy

Would like to know if the vulpine mk3 increases the base mag of the scope its used on.

    Hi Palo

It will add around 30% to the base mag with the standard lens ,I can make it 1-1 if required but the standard lens is best for foxing/rabbiting etc unless your scope is very high base  mag(I use the standard lens even for for rats)

Nothing like the cropped image of a cmoss sensor in pards etc.
you clip a bit of the image like the video bellow

  9. Hi Guys

Been a while since I posted on here so apologies for that:-(

Bit of a update in case anyone been messaging the old Ludicrous Lumens FB page, unfortunalty we lost access to the page last year & still haven't jumped through enough FB hoops to regain access so here's our new page that is currently the only way to contact us .

I hope to regain access to the original page at some point but here's the current page.

  10. Hi Guys

Its been a while since ive logged in on here so hello again:-)

after a period of being to busy for shooting I'm looking at getting out with the long range rifles again & having a play on some gongs & such.

There used to be a few options at a weekend down in Cornwall but I believe they have disappeared.

Do I have any options down in this neck of the woods currently ?
