  1. Very comfortable stock, used a couple times for both benched shooting and standing (gallery rifle type stuff) but it just wasn't for me. Has some signs of usage in the magwell but overall in very good condition.

£100 posted or can knock off a tenner if collected

Located near Stansted Airport, M11 Junction 8.

    Open to offers/trades within reason

    Comes with:

    • The stock (obviously!)
    • MGP pic rail on the bottom
    • QD sling points all over
    • sling swivels built in
    • Adjustable LOP via a wheel at the butt of the stock
    • Postage included

*** The sale is for the STOCK ONLY, the image of the rifle is just for reference as to what it would look like installed on a 1022 ***

  2. Selling my air rifle as I just don't find the time to use it anymore.

Shoots very very well, brilliant piece of kit for the money, I'm sure those who own one will agree! Brilliant package for someone just getting into air gun shooting, or for someone who just wants a more affordable shooting experience!

    Includes:
    - Gamo Phox
    - Integrated Suppressor
    - Hawke FastMount 3-12x50AO IR (Parallax Adjustable and Illuminated)
    - Hand Pump*
    - Hard Case
    - 1 x 10 round BSA magazine
    - 2 x tins of Pellets
    - Bag o'bits (spare o-rings, lube, sling studs etc etc - pictured)

The bolt handle has small amounts of speckled rust due to being in storage for a while, does not effect the functionality of the rifle. It's nothing a light polishing wont get rid of.

*the hand pump has some strange looking white stuff (might be mold due to being in storage) in the pressure gauge - unsure if its fixable/usable, this issue is reflected in the price.

    SOLD

I haven’t used the 56 Diamond back, but I do have the FFP  4-16x44 on my .223 Tikka Tac. Certainly out to 600yds at Bisley it’s superb, and with the no questions warranty I don’t think you can buy better.

This is the exact use case ill be using for mine as well! Hopefully can find a decent deal on one of them

Are you looking for a new scope, or would you consider 2nd hand? FFP or SFP? If it’s for the range you won’t be wanting illumination.
If it’s glass quality and repeatability you’re looking for, I have an S3 SFP, I would sell for £400. Best bang for buck you’ll find.

Either new or used, used would be a bit nicer to save. Ideally would like FFP

  5. Hello!

So I've decided on the .223 I'm eventually going to get (Tikka T3x Super Varmint Caracole) but I'm on the fence about which scope to pair with it.

I've had my eye on the Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50, but have recently come across the Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50. (links to both of these below)

The Athlon is substantially cheaper than the Vortex, but it seems to have less quality glass (especially at 24x), features seem to be about the same, the Athlon has a zero stop and much larger tactical turrets. I've heard people say "buy the best you can afford", but if there isn't much difference then saying the money would be a massive plus.

Has anyone had any experience with either of these scopes? Or better yet, both of these scopes? Or, does anyone have any better recommendations?

    Look forward to your replies!

For context, ill only be target shooting anywhere from 100-600m.

If you are booking for one person, then Electronics for a whole morning is expensive. You'll also get through a shed load of ammo in a morning. If you are sharing the lane, then it's really good value and everyone gets loads of shooting done, if they want to.

Three or four of us regularly book electronics for a morning to do CSR practices. We each get through 200+ rounds and still have plenty of time chatting.

Then it costs us £20-£25 each. Which, quite frankly, is a bargain.

Bisley has expenses and, in the current cost of living situation, the running costs must have hiked considerably.

Add to this that, on many days, the ranges are all but deserted, they have to make the money somehow. Are you booked between now and March, or is that you first visit of 2023? If more people used it more often they may be able to keep prices level, but there are many who use it infrequently and want it cheap. Can't have both. (Not saying that's you)

How many lanes do you get for the total price? Ive only ever been to Bisley once to shoot GRSB but am getting my .223 soon and would love to have a club trip down there for us to shoot our larger calibers
