I see Peterson are producing 6x47L brass and wandered if the quality/consistency is on a par with Lapua 6.5x47L brass that I neck down for the 6. Has anybody tried the Peterson product ?

No sorry cos I already have one and love it, but if yours is a 2 stage and will also fit a Rem clone (Nesika K) then I would be interested if you decide to sell it please ?

Very nice. If I didn`t already have 2x243`s I would snap your hand off for it and put in a variation.

I have been happier with mine since I purchased the Smartclip adaptor and like Bruce I use white strips of white insulation tape on the scope bell and adaptor for consistent alignment when fitting it.

Thanks for all the replies so far. Plenty of food for thought.
Andy at Ludicrous Lumens recommends the Meopta Meopro Optika 6. Has anybody got any experience of them?
Yes I can confirm they are very good for daylight use and work brill with a rear NV add on.

That was at 80 -150 m . And believe me when I say that I have had to drop the resolution down so far I’m surprised it even worked .
Trust me when I say there is absolutely no comparison.
if you have the means save your money and buy the pro 😂
My original Helion XP50 will do all I need it to at the moment and will wait/hope that they do a LRF version of the Pro.
But am still in the market for a dedicated unit for rifle when lambing starts again so looking for views/comparisons.

Bruce .
I owe you an apology. I was wrong ……..but if may use the excuse of saying my opinion at the time was based on my helion 2 XP50 in other words I didn’t know better , however I have today purchased a Helion XP50 pro and wow 😯 I knew within 1 min on turning it on was was going to be tendering an apology.
I now see exactly what you was referring too .
OoToT
When you splash out on the Thermion 2 XP50 could you let us Know how the edge clarity is compared to the Helion 2 XP50 Pro is please ?

Bought this recently but not found it suitable for my needs, it would have fitted my BAT VR Pic with just a bit more room needed in the recoil slot, so I assume it will fit any SA Rem clone, with minor fettling.
It’s a classic stock for a hunting rifle and for a sporter barrel. I believe it was Pillar Bedded by Norman Clark for a Rem 700 and is in McMillans flat green colour and top safety.
A few dinks and scratches but nothing of note. Looking for £400 posted but open to offers. -

Is this the same one as on the NV forum please ?

Going back to Austria for a refund tomorrow.

Just arrived today and seeing if there is any interest in this from a fellow Steyr owner before I send it back for a refund.
I am prepared to take a BIT of a hit as I made a mistake in the order, thinking that it would fit my SSG69, but appears to be for the Model M Professional as it is for a long action magazine. £200 posted. -

One of the reasons why I made the change to a wet rotary tumbler , no dust , just rise with clean water and dry in separate dedicated case drier . Job done 👍
Yep same here and with added bonus of cases cleaned inside as well.
