  3. Now sold

I had a new Barnard P actioned rifle commissioned by Neil McKillop for the World Championships in Raton in 2013. Virtually unused since, so barrelled action was sold, but I still have this beautiful charcoal black & clear coat laminated Joe West stock as I had wanted to use it again, but hearing damage precluded this from happening.

Neil did his usual flawless pillar bedding job on the stock & provided stainless allen screws of the correct length. Barnard actions are made to such exact tolerances that another Barnard P action will slot in without issue. I have tested this with my spare rifle, so know this to be true. Neil fitted the stock with a handmade trigger guard in stainless & runners for the front rest & rear bag (also stainless) so the stock slides on the bags like a “rail - gun”. The stock is in unmarked condition, though it is finished with oil, so it doesn’t need to be stripped to refinish it if you might want to in future (lacquered stocks need to be stripped for refinishing). The contoured thumbhole pistol grip will fit a medium size hand. The cheek piece is fully adjustable & easily removed.

The stock cost well over £1000, so I would like £600 please.

  4. Hi No i deer

I hope to get to Bisley mid to late afternoon on Friday the 22nd, so can bring the H1000 for you.

I spoke to Rutland12 today, who said you were good friends, so he might suggest that I leave some powder & maybe some primers with you as you are due to meet towards the end of the month if that might be ok ?

I could leave them on-site with a person or company of your choice to save your being there  - I need to collect a rifle cover from a firm down there anyway.

you could call me on 07711 422 438 to arrange something if you like ?

    thanks
    ian

The VihtaVuori 540 is a 1 kilo tub (been decanted from a larger tub so is not sealed, but I can categorically state that it is a full kilo & not contaminated in any way: £70

The N560 has been opened, but there is 800grams still present & similarly unsullied: £50

The Hodgdon H4350, H1000 & H4831SC are all full 1lb tubs with their seals in place: £35 each. There is another half pound of H4831SC which can be free to the buyer of the full  pack.

Can meet in Kent, London or Bisley.

  6. F Class rifle in 7mm SAUM with a fresh, not yet run - in 32 in Bartlein stainless barrel.

The rifle also comes with a second (non- magnum) bolt - factory supplied to suit the spare Benchmark 7mm/.284 barrel with plenty of life left in it. This second bolt could also suit a 7.62 barrel or similar.

Stunning green laminate Joe West custom stock with stainless runners to make a very smooth recoiling Open F class  rifle. The stock alone has cost me  than £1000 to have made & bedded. Built to be within the Open F Class regulation weight. The rifle was £4,500 when new with just one bolt & barrel. The second bolt & barrel represents over £1,000 more invested in the rifle.

Built by Neil McKillop, who is one of the best gunsmiths in the UK. The rifle has had very little use. This rifle is almost a work of art, it is so well made & in such good condition. It really pains me to sell it but I have changed disciplines, so it has to go.

You would be effectively getting 2 rifles for the price of one in effect !

Ideal for an RFD as the second bolt & barrel need to be certificated of course.

In very good, virtually unmarked condition.

    £1,750.

I can meet a potential purchaser at Bisley if appropriate or at my home near Maidstone.
