  1. For sale stainless Remington 700 action and original .220 swift barrel. With a Timney trigger, custom fitted oversized bolt knob, floor plate, action screws and 0moa rail. 26inch fluted barrel still shoots hole on hole with home loads, can’t vouch for shot count I’ve had it a while. Threaded 18x1. £450 plus rfd fee. Can include as extra Redding dies and Norma brass.

  3. Thanks Dr.Rock. Am interested in how the reticle in your day scope overlaps over the thermal screen, do you experience any flickering of the reticle whilst panning or distortion at different brightness settings?  Have a spare 2.5-10 S&B was thinking might suit. Also how easy do you find attaching and re attaching the unit?

    Regards, Ben

  4. Dear All,

Been looking at the new front attached thermal from Pulsar but can’t find any independent reviews of it in use fitted to a scope. Has anyone got one yet and could offer any insight as to if it’s any good?
Interested to see if the attachment mechanism is easy enough to enable the unit to be used as a spotter then quickly and repeatedly attached for the shot. Also the clarity of the picture through German glass if the better coatings hinder the picture like traditional Nv add on’s.

    Many thanks,

    Ben

  5. Dear All,

Regrettably the bank of wife won’t let me buy a new toy withought parting with an old one.

So up for sale is my Tikka T3 action, Krieger 1/8 6.5x47L barrel, heavy varmint profile @ 26inch, threaded 17x1 spigot.

Stock is a McMillan A3-5 with a Tier One bottom metal, inletted and pillars installed by Mr McKillop.

Action , rail and barrel is Ceracoated OD green, fluted bolt Matt Black. signs of wear are present. It has an over size bolt knob, 20moa and 0moa picattiny rails, custom made trigger blade from Bozard and Co, swept back more than a standard Tikka blade to allow for a more comfortable grip for those with stubby fingers.

Stock is in excellent condition no chips or scratches, will come with a 5rd aics .308 magazine.

This has been my main deer rifle for a while now, I won’t lie the barrel has probably had more than 2500 rounds down it. But it’s been well maintained and still shoots sub MOA, have shot over 200 fallow with it this season, in the head.

Can come with Redding type C dies and an assortment of bullets and whatever cases I have (100+).

Price for the lot plus the rfd fee is, £900

If barrelled action sells for £350+rfd I would sell the stock, bottom metal and magazine for £550 and re list the dies/bullets.

    Many thanks ,

    Ben
