I am selling six Spyderco knives in order to tidy up my collection of Spyderco's - my favourite pocket knives. Some are new and unused since purchase, and some have been used. There is lots of information on these on the internet. The UKPKs and the Urbans are UK legal carry pocket knives (so sub 3" and non-locking folders). The PM2 is a locking folder, and uses the brilliant Compression lock. I'm selling the new knives at a discount from when I purchased them. P&P is included in the price.

All knives come with original packaging: box, leaflet(s), and bag.

Pictured below is my kit of a 6mmBR Bergara Barrel for my Accuracy International AE MK2. It was made by Stuart Anselm of Osprey Rifles, Oldham. It is threaded at the muzzle for 1/2" UNF. Barrel was broken-in properly, and has had 197 rounds through it. Very pleased with the accuracy - three bullets through nearly the same hole is normal! 

I'm selling at a very cheap price (barrel cost me approximately £750) due to police requiring me to dispose of it ASAP, sadly.

I'm willing to do a deal for all items pictured below at a lower price collectively, rather than if I'm selling these items off individually.

I am selling a Barrett Fieldcraft in .308. I have only taken it out once to do the barrels break-in, and not shot it since due to lots of other things in life getting in the way, including a new hobby and a baby. 12 shots fired in total.

This rifle is amazingly light, and I still can't get over the feel of it, at 5lbs 1oz, or 2.31kgs. I am sorry to part with it, but cannot justify having it when I'm not using it and I need the cash.

The rifle is in perfect condition and has been stored well, and comes with the original box, paperwork, etc

Save yourself over £500 on an as new rifle. It comes with the piccatinny rail (approx. £100 direct from the USA) which I purchased separately and a set of scope rings which Barrett sent to me after purchasing the rifle free of charge.

Got more photos of all the gar so happy to post more pictures if people want them. I look after my gear, so it's in very good nick, unless otherwise mentioned. I am selling these items as I received them, so fully boxed/packaged, and with instructions, etc.

No matter what you do, they will get red mite in the end, probably off wild birds. One trick is to put vaseline on the perches in the chook house. The mites come down and become trapped. Supposed to work but I have never tried that myself. I do know that if they have problems with mites on the legs (they become swollen and very scaly looking) a good smearing of vaseline before they go to roost at night will sort it out.

Might try that next time!

Completely agree with you TerryH. We've had chickens for a couple of years. Had a red mite 'problem' a couple of times. We got a cheap second-hand coop for 25 chickens, and only have 14 inside so lots of space. Red mite powder and full clean once a week (Friday in-between clients if you must know!). They range far and wide, and look a hell of a lot better than when we got them - some from the chicken welfare trust as ex-bats (just give a donation), and from a local supplier. In the laying season (i.e. from the shortest day of the year through to about August/September) we get about 8-11 eggs per day.

Well worth it for enjoyment, watching them knock about, and for the superb eggs. So much better than shop-bought eggs.

They found some tinned foodstuffs from the Shackleton expedition and opened them, and they were still fine to eat, I think. That is stored in minus temperatures though.

It's been discussed a little bit here, and one of the posters supplied this quote from Wikipedia (if that is to be relied upon!):

"In 1824 Sir William Edward Parry took canned beef and pea soup with him on his voyage to the Arctic in HMS Fury, during his search for a northwestern passage to India. In 1829, Admiral Sir James Ross also took canned food to the Arctic, as did Sir John Franklin in 1845.^[7] Some of his stores were found by the search expedition led by Captain (later Admiral Sir) Leopold McLintock in 1857. One of these cans was opened in 1939, and was edible and nutritious, though it was not analysed for contamination by the lead solder used in its manufacture."

Surely the smell and then taste test if the key. Open it up - how does it smell? Taste a tiny amount and does it taste rank and off? Not just gobbling up large quantities of the stuff and then getting food poisoning. I do tend to eat A LOT of food past it's use-by date, as I think its a load of cobblers, and massively wasteful. And, I can trust my sense to give me the right feedback for whether to eat it or not. I know that's a bit off topic, but use-by dates drive me up the wall as they are so inaccurate.
