  1. This rifle has been the back bone of why I began my journey into precision rifle,

a few people I’m sure will vouch for its merits and what it has achieved.
308 class winner at the last RBL using the 308 carbon barrel

high ranking in the last round of the PRL using the brand new 6.5 creed barrel 22’’

    it comes with

    1x original 308 barrel, 24’’

    1x the original C2 precision 308 carbon barrel 20’’

    1x 6.5 creedmoor barrel. 22’’

    1x  10 round mag

for all of the above -£2050

    IOR 6-24-50 an additional £500,

seeing how well you did last year mate and how badly some of the internet shooters have done i'm inclined towards your method , it's easy to make hits when typing at a keyboard but in reality under pressure during the stage most plans turn to ratsh1t and it's the shooters that can react organically under pressure doing it for real that score well.

and well done young jedi for some brilliant performances last year !

THANKS TERRY Wish this virus would hurry the hell up and let me get back to shooting now.

  3. As John MH has mentioned there isn’t many cases in the uk you would have to change your firing solution drastically to still achieve an impact.
I have shot at vallhalla just testing targets and positions and the change was not enough to make a miss if I held low part of plate,

I have always been a firm believer of use the force (instinct) and apply it to your situation and your firing point.
I would like some more time at vallhalla to really get first hand experience at advanced angle shooting and really learn more but until then drop a click or two or indeed hold low and use the force you won’t go wrong.

  4. I have a setup that I rarely use anymore,

1x1in12 18inch upper, la rue fore end on a SGC upper straitpull, a tec suppressor, round count would be a guess at 1600. a tec sound mod

1x1in8 carbon fibre barrel upper, 18 inch, load dev done and then a range day and a round of csr and that’s it, so 400 rounds say,

lower is a southern gun, hogue grip , magpul prs adjustable rear stock, AR comp GOLD trigger unit-absolutely amazing,

im looking to sell as a package but possibly split if required,

    numerous mags and bits,

    £1600 takes the lot,

  5. Hey guys, good discussion going on. Here is my little 2pence worth of what i have experienced.

The 6.5s is where its at, especially when we go to some where like orion where we have a few stages at least 1000yards.

i have been using the 6.5 creed to very good success, i am tempted to push a bit more powder and go for a 260 or 260 ai something like that but after reading a few of those posts i do totally agree your misses are normally down to you. your stability and your shakes. not your load.

I do however disagree that weight is the way forward. i have been running my carbon barrels on a tikka action in an XLR carbon stock all season so ide safely say its one of the lightest rigs and that didn't give me any issues what so ever.

lots of thoughts and ideas on what to do to improve for next year so keep the good discussion going guys.

Good to hear you are back Josh.

Having seen your barrels in action, including a 30 odd shot string at the RBL one year, and the resultant group, your barrels are the only carbon barrels I would touch.

I look forward to using some buddy.

    Good luck in your venture.

    thanks mate

Really appreciate the kind and supportive comments, it means a lot.

I've got one in the pipeline for you to do but want to get this 260 done for the comps before i get another done just yet.

    speak soon.

  7. Hi guys,

Sorry i have been off the radar for a year or so due to some unfortunate family issues,

I am now however fully back on the shooting scene, Back with a bang and properly jumping into the carbon fibre barrel project where i took off.

I am fully kitted and ready to start availability of button and cut barrels.

The results have proven themselves with both of the C2 prototype barrels in the 308 and Ar 223. Good few thousand of rounds have been shot in both over the last two years.

308-  - Top spot twice at the roundhouse challenges

              - Won the 308 class at the RBL at Bisley.

223- Sadly didn't get much chance to do more -  but did come top in one match and near the top in two matches at the winter CSR league at Bisley.

With the 2019 Precision rifle league starting soon i will be entering with a tikka tac a1,  with C2 precision carbon 24'' barrel.  Hopefully do well with that rifle if its a shooter like my last two have been.

Many thanks to the smiths involved and who helped me out with what i have done so far.

C2 precision will be a sponsor for the league also. Looking forward to seeing any of you who i haven't met yet.

Prices will be published to the trades in a few weeks and availability will be full steam ahead from February onwards.

    Any questions or discussions welcome

    Josh
