Just to double-check - 35mm, not 34mm?

Bump
This mount's currently sold for £335 through Optics Warehouse. Mine's available for £250 shipped by RM Special Delivery. It's brand new, in-box, never used.

Great work, if it is your own design and there is no patent on it there is no way someone could sue you, but why to argue with someone.
Would you be kind to share with us or to email me the design file for it?
I have very modest experience with fusion360 to design it my own and was looking for this to print for myself and your design looks very good.Check out MrCetirizine's Thingiverse link:

Can’t go wrong with either. Both excellent. If you just want a scope mount and to go British, the tier one is the one to go for.
However if you think you might want to mount various accessories then go for the spuhr as they have more options and various locations (ie top, 45deg and side)
100% agree with Mark. You can't beat a Spuhr for the modularity and flexibility that they offer.

Isn’t the CAM based on an straight pull AR 15 action that’s more “conventional” in form
Not really - it uses the ar15 bolt head, but in a unique way. Paul at Thames Valley Guns has a fantastic report up on his website, detailing one of the older rifles:
https://www.thamesvalleyguns.co.uk/CAM Rifle.pdf
It's my understanding that the current production rifles have a higher quality of finish, and with their carbon/kevlar stocks, are massively(😅) lighter. You can see the current model on the BMS website:

Really cool set-up IMO.

Cheers guys. I haven't heard back from Alan yet, but if/when I do, I'll msg those who're interested in the CAM Rifle's background.
-
Edit: May have just found him on FB - I'll message him there.

Last time I saw Alan was at a “quarry steel plate shoot” back in 2012
It seems that he dropped off the face of the Earth soon after that.

I'm aware he hasn't posted since 2013, but I wanted to follow up with him re. his CAM Rifle research. Does anyone know?

Rail now sold. Price of the mount alone, reduced to £250.
