  1. It shows ..whenever you go after Charlie be prepared to be surprised as to how quickly or late they come in..
Last night i got to my permission around 11.40 p.m and just put out the caller on fence post and a bag of chicken bones lower down the gate..
As I got back to my ambush point ..within 5 minutes this fox was already at the gate..I didn’t have time to put the caller on .you can see the heat signal of both caller and food package is glowing white and fox beside it.
I let him mooch about for a while and then harvested him….strangely he wasn’t even going for the chicken bones buffet laid out for him !!

  2. Sunday night around 11.p.m after getting a break from constant rain ..went to farm to control few more Charlie’s!
Saturday’s left over takeaway of doner kebab coupled with some left over chicken and some bread, placing them in my favourite ambush zone,
I also had the caller going to Woodpecker call about 2.5 hours,in came this large dog fox trotted in purposely to the diner table and was harvested cleanly.

  3. As ever off I went to my permission and sitting comfy in my warm mobile 4x4 hide for almost 3 hours saw nothing!
Was going to call it a night and in trotted this fox to a mouse call and was duly accounted for.

Sunday night was dry on the farm so I popped over In Pursuit of gun safety/ testing and the results were 2 foxes.

First fox appeared around 45 mins and just wasn’t in a safe area for shot and was left to carry on.

An hour later fox no 2 made it to the ideal shooting spot and met his maker.

Another hour and half fox no 3 made it to the perfect ambush area and also joined his maker.

The safety issue I was having with the trigger seems to be sorted.

Only got video of 1 fox and picture off other.

  5. Went to my permission again on Friday..also hoping to see if the trigger issue is sorted.
Got 2 foxes and triggers fine now,the grass was quite tall and made shooting accuratly difficult.
The foxes came in quite vary and hence forgot to press video recording but got pics!

  6.

My Tikka T 3 .223 is appearing to lock the trigger once loaded…
Every now and then it’s as if the safety is on and won’t fire..even when i try to move the safety the safety doesn’t move even if I haven’t put the safety on!
I have to try and cycle the bolt a few times to get it to fire.
Any ideas ..as I’ve had the bolt out and cleaned it all and found no dried grease or crud!

  7. Any one experienced fancy a few days on Pigeons control strictly under GL42.
Must have own shooting pigeon magnet, decoys, hide, netting etc set up.
Must be safe, insured and use only Fibre carts.

Also be in no doubt if you’re unsafe, careless, don’t pick up spent carts and litter won’t be ever invited again!

    P.M me please

  8. Here’s a couple of pics of 3 foxes accounted for last Friday evening.
Saw 6 but only 3 were in safe shooting positions.
I’ll be back once this rain stops!
2 were taken in a baited area on left over chicken bones..

  9. In the last few months I’ve experienced lots of lag and often signal issues whilst watching the screen on my iPhone.
I usually have a roof mounted turn & tilt remote control unit mounted with Rh 50 that i connect to my iPhone in my shooting truck.
I’ve been having this issue for a while..just wondering what’s causing it..I must admit seems more prevalent in the colder months!
