My Vortex Golden Eagle stopped focusing on side knob. I returned to Optics Warehouse who, in turn, sent it to CSW. They agreed a replacement but were out of stock and I had to wait a month for a replacement from US. This was during the Covid s**tstorm when I believe Vortex US were closed / not producing kit(?) I'm glad 'tis all sorted now!!

Morning Trigger,
I am a FTR and target rifle shooter. 100 yds to 1k yds.
I started with a standard wood stock for my first 308/7.62 and it worked just fine. I then got a System Gemini chassis stock for my second identical 'spare' rifle. Once I got the Gemini stock adjusted to fit and suit my position it was excellent. With adjustable stocks you must learn to set it up and then leave it alone!! Not continually tweeking!
I can't say the Gemini shot better but it was more comfortable therefore I shot better, BUT look along the firing point at the Imperial and you will see the majority are still wood stocks.
Possibly save your money for more ammo and practice!!
Have fun

I know this will open 'a can of worms' re cleaning solutions! but....try C2R cleaning solution. Pretty darned effective. (From Shooting Shed) Use as per instructions.

Just bought a Delta Stryker and Burris rings from OW. Service and delivery were excellent. Wish more companies were as good - but that's why OW is so good!!
Thank you OW

That system is a graphical method of a standard TR plotting sheet. On your plot sheet you put down estimated wind and then plot your shot. You then have to 'calculate' the true wind. This way shows you what you needed for wind for the last shot. There is/was a Canadian company making the Plot O Matic. It was very good but a bit pricey!
I have seen the Canadians using this very usefully.
Get practising!!

6mill,
I have sold my Mystic to a fellow club member. I bought a Shooting Shed bipod. Very pleased - if it helps!!
Thank you

adamdavi3s,
I hope this is what you meant!!!
I have a Sightron S111SS8-32x56LRMOA.
I would like to either get a replacement windage turret OR a label giving 0-7 right then 0-7 left instead of 0-14 one way! (I hope this makes sense!!)
I have read your excellent guide on 'how to' but still rather lost!!
Any info you could give would be appreciated. Thank you

Morning F'ers!!
I'm thinking of getting a bipod suitable for FTR. (Anschutz rail)
I have a Mystic now but I find the height adjustment tricky.
What are the current thoughts please? Tier One, Dolphin Tracker or AB or Shooting Shed (if David makes any more)
Thank you

You could try a parallel rail but use offset rings as Burris XTR rings (Optics Warehouse). I think incline is up to 40 MOA max.
