craigyboy
just picked up a new lightforce 170 lamp tonight, I was going to buy a 12v 14amp battery but wanted to give my 10 amp battery a shot first to see how it goes, the only problem is that the connection on the lamp is one of those big stupid lighter sockets (which I hate) and my battery has a jack type spocket so I am a bit stuck when it comes to actually using the thing, I dont think its possible to wire a jack onto the lamp lead and as my battery is contained in a box which has a jack socket built into the housing it cant really be changed either, any ideas? I could take it out of the box, but then I have to fid another way of keeping the battery dry.
