South West range availability

Evening all.

I just wanted to reach out and see what other people are currently doing regarding range availability and are they aware of any light at the end of the tunnel?

My club used to shoot sevenside once a month plus either Rogiet Moor or Yoxter. It's been probably been 2 years (or more) since we have booked sevenside. Yoxter as far as I am aware has been without an RO for a year? And Rogiet is undergoing maintenance work. I don't think I have been on the range since May and I have no idea if/when we will be back

Rifleman Firearms, Somerset - 100 yds indoor 

Cotswold Sporting, Glos - 600 yds

East Holme, Dorset - 400 yds (returned to owner, no longer MoD)  

Bunkys, Cornwall - loads !

I'm assuming that you are a member of Muzzle Loaders

Monmouth & District Rifle club has a 100 yard Tunnel and occasionally books military ranges

Wessex Rifles has at least one shoot a month at either Warminster IR2 (600yards) or Alpha/Echo Ranges at Bulford (400yards). They do two detail per morning shoots usually 100/200yards and then 300/400yards or 300/600yards 

Fifty Calibre Shooting Association UK have monthly shoots at 900metres at Warminster IR2. These shoots are ONLY at 900m and shooters are expected to have decent dope. HME testing is done first thing
