Ronin
Just a quick note to say Thabks to Marc, Helen and their team for putting on a superb competition today Seven stages were put on for the 24 entrants to the comp of varying degrees of torturous difficulty The weather started out pretty cold and wet, then developed into very wet for a short period then decided to allow a yellow orb to glow in the sky towards midday The wind during the day varied from awkwardly difficult to absolute baxxtard (roughly 13-22 mph switching direction) The stages varied from 300 mtr poppers (9 shots three positions on unstable fence ) to 800 mtr 12 round through a stack of tubes (two rounds through each and 6 positional changes in 1 min 30 sec ) As an additional twist we shot another stage at 800 mtr without mag and single feeding (focussed the mind if you lose your mag and shows it’s still possible to function and connect with targetry a long way away) Mixed into this we’re other stages at 700, 500, 600 mtrs and merciless craich from fellow team mates and our hosts All in all, a superb day out - no egos , no BS, just fun with a capital F 👍🏻

MJR
Brilliant competition as usual and big thanks to Mark and Helen and of course the volunteers that RO'd and the spotters, without them nothing happens so well done all. Very tricky conditions with constantly changing conditions and some really good stages. Well done Joe, great shooting and great to see two ladies out shooting with us. Thanks to all in my squad with the usual banter and craic. Just good to be a out and back to some form of normality.
Ronin
Given the conditions and stage constraints there were some very good scores considering
Charlts
It was a jolly good day out, great company, great shooting and given the conditions a proper challenge. Wifey has enjoyed all her visits to Gardners, especially her first SIS match, as some of the things she’s worked hard at started to click. It’s brilliant seeing more female shooters getting involved.
