Duster31
I currently use the boretech products to clean my rifles but was just wondering if many of you use the KG bore polish at all ?
terryh
Duster, There are a lot of good products out there but the subject of how to clean a rifle is well up there with political and religious discussions!! 😉😂. What issues are you seeing that makes you want to polish the bore? would be my first question. As an answer to bore 'polish', I've used Flitz, Iosso (with tiher dedicated blue nylon brushes) and JB bore paste (both flavours) for specific purposes. There is no reason to think the the KG product would be any better worse than any of these. Terry
Re-Pete
FWIW, I use this stuff https://tripeek.com/ I've also used Autosol, but I think the Peek paste is a bit less aggressive. Pete

One on top of two
I just use Patch out to deal with the copper ( with accelerator now and then ) and chameleon gel to get the carbon out after .

Wipe-Out Tactical Advantage. Bloody marvellous stuff. As is their case lube by the way.
SeaMonkey
I also use Patch Out and also use the accelerator more often than not because I'm impatient. I have used the KG2 Bore Polish on occasion after using Patch Out as an overkill experiment. I can't say that it made any discernible difference to accuracy or velocity. terryh
Wipe-Out’s accelerator and Tac advantage before I leave the range, push thru when I get home , leave Ballistol in the gun. All applied with felts. Carbout now and then. Each rifle’s different and requires and regime adjusted to suit. whatever your are happy with really. ‘Cleaning’ came up at my club recently and I obtained a top F Class shooter and a known top PR shooter/gunsmith/instructors methods - you could not have found two diametrically opposite techniques ie there is no correct way 😉😂
