If you get the chance ..... Buy the full fat version from the US

But be aware there's a risk of it being seized at Customs as it won't have Certificates of Conformity.

If you get the option from the US ... Do it as mine hasn't missed a beat from 8g pellets to 250g bullets . Just be extra gentle where the power lead goes in as it's just thin steel housed in plastic and I heard a warning of this working loose but I don't know of any cases ?

Sorry for the partial hijack but is it true that Caldwell are producing a similar product for quite a lot less?  David.

Nothing on their website resembling a Doppler radar

Why not get a Magnetospeed? The accuracy and repeatability is almost on par with the Labradar according to Litz.

Super easy to use and won’t affect barrel harmonics when used with the MK picatinny mount.

Had a US Spec Labradar but now use a V3 Magnetospeed and MK Mount.

The mini-USB power lead socket on the Labradar is ridiculously flimsy for such a piece of equipment............a standard USB would have made more sense. I'm looking at ways to modify mine.

Who does the mount?

MK Machining. Shipping from the US was fine.

I’ve got one that I use with my Magneto Sporter. Works great. Just make sure you get the right adaptor if you have a Sporter or V3.

Hi

may I ask why you switched? I have a V3 magnetospeed but the labradar seems handy in theory for a multi rifle session but it also sounds anecdotally to be fussy, power hungry and potentially fragile

I have just acquired an MK mount for my AI AXMC which fits well (not used in anger yet due to covid) but obviously this relies on the pic rails on the hand guard and is less useful for R8 or lee Enfield hence my interest in the Labradar
