I’m unsure what to go with, any ideas those more experienced with this? Popsbengo Posted December 3, 2020 Report Share Posted December 3, 2020 As terryh says above, Tier 1 know their bolt steel composition, plating/coating and thread-form. Torque is an indirect measure of elastic tension in the bolt and that's affected by the parameters I mention. Also follow any instruction given regarding dry or lubricated threads.
