Telescope for spotting shots

I have an old Swarovski AT80 telescope with the 30x WA lens.  I’m looking to get a zoom lens, for spotting shots on paper and wondering at say 60x, what distance would that enable 6mm bullet holes to be seen.
Thanks

It depends a lot on the weather and your own eye sight.

Also depends on target and background behind the target. Ballpark at 60-70x 300m on black paper targets. 550m on white paper targets. 1km + on white steel targets. These are what I’ve been able to achieve more often than not. Weather can make it a bit better or a lot worse. Sometimes you can be better off at 30x.

I wear normal contact lenses for shooting, bit of a pain to read the turret clicks.
