213 yrds and 237 yrds not very far BUT one was walking ,2nd had it,s head down a rabbit hole

Just pulled this off my phone,took my mate Steve out for his fist Muntjac buck the other morning,neck shot off the sticks at 80yrds Rugby fans will know him better as "Tommo"Northampton saints and England Internationl player.

Is that a Sauer Outback or a standard sauer with synthetic stock ?

Standard vanilla flavoured Sauer SX (6.5 x 55) i am afraid,i didnt see the point of getting walnut and blueing just to be dragged through mud etc VERY good rifle by all accounts.

I am gona have to have a go at those munties sometime , is it correct you can now use a 22 cf for them

I prefer the standard myself as the outback carries a fluted barrel to cut down on weight.

 

It looks like we`ve got a similar set up only my Sauer`s 6.5x284

 

Also got a SSG 22-250 like yours in the photo but I wouldn`t mind that new macmillan stock you`ve got if you ever decide to give it away
