banus02
good evening,i wonder if one of the members who owns quick load would run my load through to give me the quoted pressure and velocity? the load is fired from a 20" tikka super varmint in 6.5x55,1in 8 twist, the bullet is 120 nosler b/t and the powder charge of 39grs of h4895 the cases are lapua with a case length of 2164" and a cartridge over all length of 2914",i am using federal 210 primers, if it makes any difference the rifle is fitted with a jet z moderator. many thanks for your time. GT3_richy
Ideally need to measure case capacity as it can vary a lot between brands. QL default capacity for 6.5 swede is 57gr - based on that and your OAL, 39gr of H4895 gives an 84% fill, 2743fps and 52,600psi. Obviously, take this with a pinch of salt, I'm sure you're aware Hodgdons data gives a max load of 37.8gr.
