Dr. Strangelove
Hi all, I’m putting a RediMag / Boonie Packer in my BAR-22 so these Black Dog mags will no longer fit. I’ve got 3 x 25rd and 1 x 50rd. The 25rd mags are the slightly older ‘X-Form’ type with steel feed lips. There is slight damage to the 50rd mag - the housing for one of the bolts holding it together has snapped off. I haven’t tried it since but it doesn’t seem to be in any danger of falling apart! The damage is pictured below. I’d swap the 50rd mag for a Black Dog S&W 15-22 50rd! Otherwise, I’d like £20ea excluding postage for the 25rd mags and £55 excluding postage for the 50rd mag. I’d sell all of them for £105 excluding postage. Thanks, Dr. S
topscots1
How does the 50 round mag feed through a BAR 22 could be interested in them all.
Dr. Strangelove
Much better with non-lead nosed ammo. Copper nosed is the way to go with the 50rd as the lead fouls the mag up. 25rd mags are absolutely fine with lead nosed.
Dr. Strangelove
Ah, hadn’t thought of that! I’ve not heard of anyone having an issue with it. Guess I’ll see!
BamBam
Boonie packers are fine, but I went to Catch22 for simplicity, although it does mean my AR lower is now dedicated .22 only.
