Kipper
Picked one off theses up last night. It's my first auto thrower so forgive me. After warm up and calibration it's still all over the place with charges, will read for instance 44.5 and stop but if you remove the pan and place it back on the scales it will say 48.6 (which is correct) . I read online there very susceptible to mobile phones and light bulbs... are they really this sensitive?
Kipper
Update: It's as if the trickle is too fast for the scales.. if I select a charge 5gr light it will stop, settle and not be that far off the desired weight..
colin jalland
how old is it?
dodgyrog
I have a DPS 1. It's very sensitive to drafts. I have to re-calibrate it every four or five operations. It does come in useful to check other dispensers though, so I'm still using it. I'd like to get a Hornady dispenser to replace it but the cost is prohibitive. Kipper
I have no idea tbh, I was given it by a club member who retired. I have read about the mcDonalds straw hack to slow down and smooth out the powder but as off yet I've not been for a big mac. Dodgyrog.. once I finally got it calibrated it was spot on but like you say I had to keep a eye on the zero for drifting
