Popsbengo
I think my Magnetospeed is a "Sporter" model and it's not suitable to use with any barrel or attachment over 25mm diameter. It's a mechanical limitation I think but it may also mean the sensors are too far from the exiting bullet for proper triggering.
One on top of two
Yes with the sporter version you only get one muzzle V attachment , I believe the actual sensor arm is different as well , the V3 will clamp onto my sound mod no problem as it has a different arm and a selection of V attachments . Stephen Donaldson
I have a sporter, what exactly is your problem, is it because the barrel is a light barrel (small diameter). And the sensor is too near to the flight of the bullet. Steve
Pat Allen
I have the sporter and just remove moderator for checking speeds . My predator 12 only adds about 15 FPS to straight barrel figures .
pengo
I have the Sporter model and it isn't designed for use with a moderator fitted. I tend to develop my loads with the mod or muzzle break I'm going to use on the rifle and when I've found an accurate load, I simply remove it and then Chrono the load, much like Pat has said, there's not too much difference in FPS then. It's a great piece of kit, which is great value for money, in my opinion. Hope this helps. Cheers. Paul
