Woodlander Posted October 30, 2019 Report Share Posted October 30, 2019 Would I be correct in saying most .22br rifles seem to be shooting the lighter 53/55gr bullets? When the trend for .223s is to shoot heavier bullets. They are known to go through barrels fairly quickly, would having a faster twist and shooting heavier bullets slow down erosion to the barrel and what twist rate would be recommended?
