Ronin Posted March 16, 2019 Report Share Posted March 16, 2019 Slightly different take and it’s only my view- have the rifle threaded to largest diameter the current barrel will allow example - if the barrel diameter at the muzzle is .600” then it will take a M14x1mm thread ( it also take 1/2” unf /unef) Though if 30 cal I’d steer away from 1/2” threads as the root thickness isn’t ideal in my view (that isn’t to say you shouldn’t - I just don’t like that thread in 30 cals) Hope that helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In which case if you go for M18x1 you can get adaptors from Hausken to reduce the thread down to around 1/2" and everything in between so you could use that mod on other rifles , just a thought.
