Bedding a Sako 75 + Barnard S

I’m looking for advice on bedding a Sako 75 action 1. Having read a couple of comments that they are a bugger to bed, what pitfalls should I be looking to avoid, any good you tube videos to watch and where to obtain pillars?

Secondly,I have a Barnard S in a GRS stock,it was sent to be fully bedded by the previous owner, but came back with only the recoil lug bedded, it’s a 6br and accuracy is ok,but I feel it could be better,if I was to pillar and skim bed, will the previously bedded recoil lug be a problem, should I consider a V block or leave well alone.

Ive never done anything like this before, but consider myself relatively practical and have acces to a workshop.

Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks

Ive done a few 75's, you need to machine the front pillar to accomodate the recoil lug area properly and make sure everything is polished well with release agent.

The Barnard S - if your fitting pillars (I would) id remove all the old bedding and start again.
