Mick Miller
Can anyone recommend a decent, affordable synthetic stock for my CZ 527 17H Varmint please? I looked at the h-s precision stocks, lovely but at £560 shipped, via Germany, to the UK are way too costly. Is there anything available in the UK, or anyone that makes them here already? rimmie
When I get my Cz .17 hornet, I WAS going to get the boyds "pro varmint" as the inlet it for the 527 action, in varmint and American barrel Chanels. I say WAS as until a couple of weeks ago the pro varmint was $99 so still shippable from the states, but the price has gone up to $129 so now can't ? Mick Miller
These are wood though aren't they? Having spoke to the guys at SSS the £550 or so price for an H-S precision stock doesn't seem too bad now. Maybe it's time to put more pennies in the jar? banus02
good afternoon ,you can get a Kevlar stock for the cz527 varmint .I was quoted £430 from edgar brothers as its a factory option
drum
I have the factory hs stock on a cz and while it is a nice stock it is also very short. It certainly suits some types of shooting positions better than others. I'm sure you've handled one but if you havnt it might be a good idea to have a look at one before parting with 500 quid. Mick Miller
I haven't handled one, so thanks for the heads up. I'm 6'1" so a short stock isn't going to be super handy! Banus, thanks for the tip. I'll give them a call and see what the score and price is.
