Testers wanted for new Tikka T3 accessory

Recommended Posts

We are looking for 2-3 people with factory .223 Tikka T3's to perform some testing of a new product. Ideally you'd shoot a lot, in a variety of conditions and locations. If you'd be up for giving us some unbiased feedback on this new product, drop me a p.m. with some details about what, how often and where you shoot and why you want to do it.

We'll post back here at the end of next week with the lucky selected members!

I have a factory Tikka T3 supervarmint in .223 with a 20" 1 in 8 barrel if of interest. Generally shoot vermin off sticks out to 200 plus yards regularly, but just about to join a shooting club where I hope to push it out to 600 yards.

I have the same rifle in .204 also if not calibre specific.

The first prototype was tested at the weekend and a few minor modifications are required, nothing much just a tweak here and there. We're visiting a specialist coating company this afternoon to see what they can do for us. We're hopeful that the test units will be out with their lucky new owners by the end of the month. Will keep you posted, but for now here's glimpse of what's coming!

What is it - it's certainly not clear from the photo?

The photo reminds me of something from the 70s quiz show "Ask The Family".

I give up, I haven't got a clue.

A new .223 Tikka mag

And the prize goes to Bradders! This is the very first completely finished.223 magazine ready for field testing. And they're 100% British made! Thanks to Baldie for a very swift turnaround for us on the Cerakote! We also have two other coatings being applied at the moment. A hard anodised version and a DLC type too, these should be ready sometime next week.

The magazines are constructed from 6082 Aluminium and weigh in at 160g. The magazine will hold 10 rounds with ease and allow extended length loading out to approximately 65mm. They are user serviceable and very easy to strip and clean with their stainless bolts being perfectly recessed and finished.

The first field tester has been contacted and we'll be reaching out to a few more over the next few days. We're hoping that the launch will coincide with us exhibiting at The Phoenix at the end of the month.
